The best eSIM for Serbia (2026)

In a number of places in Europe, I am able to get data via my phone contract I have back home in the UK. Unfortunately, Serbia does not fall into the list of countries covered, so it means I have to go back to using my trusty eSIM, and the eSIM I recommend for Serbia, is…. Saily.

Slow down, Einstein (Tesla might have been better here as he is a legend in Serbia, and they even named their airport after him), what’s an eSIM?

Valid question, and one I cover in great detail in this blog post here. In this post I cover everything you need to know about eSIM’s, why Saily should be your choice, and how to install the eSIM onto your phone.

If you have any other questions regarding the whole process, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment and I will do my best to help!

As I’ve covered so much in the previously linked article, I will just focus on rates in this piece.

How much does the Saily eSIM cost in Serbia?

Prices range from $3.99 for 1GB which will last 7 days (perfect if you just want to use it for contacting your place of stay, using maps, public transport etc), all the way up to 20GB which will cover you for up to 30 days in Serbia.

Here is the full list of options available (correct as of August 2025), and I can give you 5% extra off these prices with a custom discount code I will drop in this post a little later on.

If I am in a place less than a week, I usually just get a 5GB eSIM, but anytime longer than that I get the 10GB or 20GB packages. Sidenote, topping up is very easy on Saily, so if you do end up using all of your data, you can just top up via their app, and it will add on to your existing eSIM.

The cost of a Saily eSIM in Serbia

Is there a regional offer available?

There is! A number of eSIM companies offer region specific packages (Europe, Asia, Worldwide etc) which are perfect for those fast-paced travellers who are only in a country for a day or two.

Serbia isn’t included in the list of countries for the Europe based Saily eSIM, but they are included in the worldwide package, along with 105 other countries, and here are the prices.

Where’s that discount code you promised us?

I got you! If you follow this link, it will take you to the Saily website. You then need to add in the custom discount code, TRAVELGUY5 , and you’ll receive the extra 5% off your Saily eSIM purchase.

Just add the discount code 'TRAVELGUY5' and you will receive your 5% Saily discount!

Here's the cost of the eSIM with the 5% discount applied. It may look a small amount, but whether you're a digital nomad, full-time traveller, or just on a holiday, these small savings will soon add up to another flight, or an ice-cream, or whatever it may be that you fancy.

It’s my second time here in Serbia, and since I was here last, Belgrade has launched a free public transport initiative, which is an absolute win, and which you can read about here.

I’ve also been to Novi Sad, which was lovely to wander around, and it feels Serbia as a whole is getting more and more popular. More coworkings are popping up, and I will share my review of one I visited in Belgrade shortly!

Wherever you go, you’ll be covered with the Saily eSIM, and I hope you enjoy your time here!
