Best eSIM for Greece (2026)

Another day, another eSIM article on this website.

I didn’t mean for The Anxious Travel Guy to turn into an eSIM mecca, but people seem to respond well to the posts, and if I can help you lovely people out with my recommendations as I travel the World, then all the better.

The start of my year has been a busy one, with trips to Egypt, Kenya, Greece and now Turkiye. Obviously I’ve needed data in all of these places, so with that in mind, here is my eSIM recommendation for Greece.

Let's dive in.

What is your eSIM recommendation for Greece?

I would previously use the same eSIM company for the majority of places I went to, as honestly, I’m pretty lazy. It felt like a faff to have to shop around, download multiple apps, compare prices etc, so I would just stay with the one I first downloaded and that was that.

As I travelled more and more, I did notice that there are a LOT of different eSIM companies out there, so these days I’m not stuck to one, it’s more what makes sense for a particular place.

The last thing you want to do is pick up huge bills for using your home phone, so yeah, if you’re in a new country, try and get that eSIM. Most phones from the last few years and beyond should have the feature enabled (just search eSIM in your settings), and it is getting easier and easier to get connected.

I’d recommend installing the eSIM BEFORE you get to which ever country you’re heading, and then you can activate it when you land. If you are ever struggling, most eSIM providers are really good with 24/7 support, so you’ll be able to reach out for help.

With all that said, the eSIM I’d recommend for Greece, is Saily. Remember, Greece has all those islands as well, so if you're planning to island hop, it's important to know you're covered wherever you go in the country.

Be sure to keep reading as I’ve got a custom discount code you can use later on in the post.

Why Saily?

I’ve written extensively about Saily in my post on the best eSIM for Vietnam, so you can check out a lot of the reasons why I rate them so highly here.

Let’s give a few bullet points though, as they really do offer a lot:

  • Super easy to set up

Unlike other eSIM companies, you only need to set up the Saily eSIM once (in supported countries). With other companies, you need to download a new eSIM for every new country you visit. With Saily, it’s (mostly) one and done.

Also, the installation process is beyond simple. I documented it in the Vietnam eSIM post, but from start to finish, it took me two minutes.

  • Saily are run by the people who run NordVPN

There are lots of new eSIM companies that pop up, and you probably won’t know anything about them. With Saily having such a renowned company behind them, it definitely helped with reassurance that they know what they’re doing, and as I wrote in the OG Vietnam post, they back it up as their service is brilliant.

They’re also great with regards all things security as you’d imagine, offering additional security features that other eSIM providers don’t, including the ability to use virtual locations (VPN style), plus, they’ll automatically block malicious URL’s, and Saily’s eSIM also has an ad blocker.

As you can see in the photo below, Saily offers a lot of features that other companies don’t, and while I don’t necessarily purchase an eSIM to increase my online security, if they want to throw in all of the above for free, then you best believe I will take it.

Saily's eSIM features
Here are the extra features that Saily provide compared to other eSIM companies.

  • Data Usage Reminder

When you reach 80% of your data allowance, you’ll be alerted so you can top up. As you’ve probably guessed from how easy installation is, topping up follows a similar pattern.

  • The reviews are insanely high

There are reviews on the Saily website, but naturally, they’re going to be more positive. I like to check Trustpilot, and as you can see, Saily do pretty darn well with a 4.7/5 rating over 23,000 reviews.

Anyway, let’s get to the juicy bits, and look at the prices.

How much does an eSIM cost in Greece?

Here are Saily’s prices (correct as of April 2026) for Greece.

Here are the options for smaller eSIM packages.

I am usually in a place a bit longer, so my eSIM of choice is usually 20 GB.

Greece falls into the mid/slightly higher category when it comes to eSIM value, but when looking at Saily’s prices, they’re considerably lower than other providers I checked.

Here's are Saily's eSIM prices for bigger packages in Greece.

Unlimited data hasn’t really appealed to me as unless you’re off the beaten path completely, you should be able to find WiFi to supplement your eSIM package.

There are also regional eSIM deals available for Europe. This wouldn’t really work for me as I don’t travel that fast these days as your boy is getting older, but the prices were actually better than I thought, and there are 35 countries that are included. So if you’re planning a Eurotrip (what a film by the way), this could be a great option.

Saily's region prices for Europe were actually better than I expected.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Greece eSIM prices from Saily, though, and I can help make the prices a bit cheaper with my custom discount, so let’s give you that reward for reading so far.

Conclusion:

I travel a lot as you can probably tell from this blog, and I also randomly seem to write a lot of eSIM posts as I go. As mentioned, I am getting better at trying to source a good deal, so with that in mind, Saily are a really great option for your Greece eSIM.

The prices are very reasonable, you get a lot more extras than you would do with other providers, and they have a powerhouse company behind them.

Reviews are also amazing, plus there is support available, and installation is beyond simple, with the added bonus that you only have to install your eSIM once (for supported countries).

Let me know if you go with my recommendation, and feel free to message or comment :)
