Mini Golf in Hoi An - Where to play

You’re in Hoi An and you want a break from the gorgeous centre, or the beautiful beaches and want to play some mini golf? I’ve got you covered!
A great spot has opened super close to An Bang beach, and after testing it out, here’s my review.
Where is it?
So as mentioned, you’ll find Mini Golf Hoi An in the An Bang area of the city. The ancient town is beautiful, but let’s face it, it’s super busy, so you’ll have a bit more peace and quiet here.
Here is the exact location, and if you are staying away from the area, you’ll probably need to book a grab to get there. It’s on one of the main roads of the An Bang area, so my recommendation would be to make a night of it.
This is the address if you need to put it into grab: 128 Nguyen Phan Vinh, An Bang, Hoi An.

There are a number of brilliant restaurants in the vicinity, and my friends and I actually went to the Mexican place (Casa Loca An Bang) over the road which was delicious, and like a lot of places in Hoi An, very reasonably priced.
After Mini Golf, you can then grab yourself an ice-cream, or head to one of the bars. Talk about a wholesome evening.
Can you park there?
I don’t recall seeing too many parking spots in the immediate vicinity as it’s on a busy road, but if you drive around you should be able to find somewhere on a side street or nearer the beach. Motorbikes and scooters will be fine, and the Mini Golf Hoi An website says there is some parking available for cars, but I guess it’s limited.
How much does it cost?
So at the time of writing this, the cost of playing Mini Golf in Hoi An is 155,000 VND for adults (£4.37 / €5.05 / $5.86) and 99,000 VND for children. They also have family packages available. You can find out more on their website here.
This gets you 18 holes of mini-golf action, scorecard and pencil, golf ball, and golf club hire. For what you get, and the quality of the course, this is terrific value. You can change the length of the putter you receive, so keep that in mind as well.

What’s the course like?
I don’t mind a bit of mini-golf action. It’s actually a go-to date place for me, mainly because if the date sucks, at least I still get to play mini-golf and I have fun. Maybe I need to rethink the tactic, as I’m still single, but that’s another blog post for another day.
With all that mind, the course is great! Being a recently opened place, you’d hope that the quality would be high, and it certainly is at Mini Golf Hoi An.
Some of the holes are very challenging, which makes it more appealing for the older crowd, but it's still enough fun so that children will enjoy it as well.

There is a shot limit on each hole (believe it was 6) so that keeps the games moving at a quick pace. We were a group of 5, and I think it took us an hour or so to get through all 18 holes.

While we were playing, there were a couple of families also on the course, but looking from afar, even with young kids, it looked like they were all having a lot of fun.
The space doesn’t feel huge, but the course is really well designed, and it’s easy to find the next hole as you navigate through.

What are the facilities like?
It looks like the Mini Golf Hoi An building is connected to a coffee shop next door, so there are plenty of options. There is also a toilet on the course. The staff members were also very nice, and helped us with anything we needed. You can also leave any bags you may have with them, so you don’t have to take them with you.

Anything missing?
I think a clipboard would be nice so you have something to rest the scorecard on, and also the option to add more players. We had 5 of us as mentioned, and we had to take two scorecards with us to include everyone.
Would you recommend it?
Absolutely! We had a great time, and were a bit annoyed that the venue had opened so late into our stay, as we only got the chance to play once.

Next time we’re in Hoi An though, I am sure we’ll be back on a number of occasions. It’s a great addition to the Hoi An scene, so if you’re ever in the area, make sure you check it out.
It’s very good value for money, there are delicious food options nearby, and I’m sure you’ll have a great time checking it out.
